An atmospheric interpretation of the Humber landscape, painted in a restrained palette of soft blues, greys and white. Broad sweeping marks suggest the open water and distant shoreline, while darker expressive strokes in the foreground give the composition depth and movement.

The almost monochromatic treatment creates a sense of space, weather and changing light rather than describing the landscape in precise detail. Splashes and loosely worked areas of paint add energy to the foreground, contrasting with the quieter horizon beyond.

Presented as a 485 × 370 mm canvas print in a black stain tray frame, the dark frame providing a strong contemporary edge to the cool, understated tones of the artwork.
